The Government of Japan offers 20 scholarships to candidates from developing countries, especially the least developed countries, wishing to carry out research on one or more of the topics listed below. Scholarship aims to support postgraduate research innovative and imaginative in four areas of development of particular interest to UNESCO.

vecas Unesco Keizo Obuchi Research Fellowship Programme corresponds to the trustee of the Japan Fund, finances and promotes undergraduate research post work in the following fields of research: Environment (with particular attention to water sciences); intercultural dialogue; technologies of information and communication; and peaceful settlement of disputes. No other field of research is not taken into consideration.

– Have the confirmation of the academic tutor of the University where you wish to conduct their research.
– Candidates must master the language where it will carry out the investigation.

Two authenticated copies of the academic degree of master
Letter of acceptance from the host university which would conduct the investigation.
Two certificate of language (the UNESCO form) duly completed copies.
A detailed, two-page maximum, in English or French which must answer the following questions: why the knowledge and skills that are taught in the University of destination would helpful for your research project?. Results or impact expected of her research?; Describe methods that aims to lead the investigation. Where are you going to do the research?, when are you going to perform research home and life expectancy? and how much is the cost you will need to do the research? (detailed description).
