The BBVA Foundation, within the framework of its momentum to the Biomedicine program, announces call for twelve scholarships for specialization training in Spain of Latin American specialists in medicine, for the research training of physicians of Latin America.
with these grants, the BBVA Foundation wants to promote the training of Latin American professionals in fields of marked importance and necessity in Latin America, counting for it with the extensive experience of the Fundación Carolina.
scholarships are distributed in the following way:
3 fellowships in Adult Oncology 1 Fellowship in Pediatric Oncology 4 scholarships in adult Cardiology 1 scholarship in child Cardiology 3 scholarships in viral diseases (hepatitis and HIV).
The scholarships will have a duration of one year and may be may be extended an additional year.
in the Oncology Programme, selected for the specialty of adult hospitals are Salamanca-Hospital Clínic University Hospital; Hospital Universitario 12 de Octubre (Madrid) and the Institut Català d’Oncologia in L’Hospitalet de Llobregat (Barcelona).
for the Pediatric Oncology, selected Center program is the Hospital Sant Joan de Déu, Esplugues de Llobregat (Barcelona). In the program of Cardiology, medical centers assigned to the specialty of adults are the Hospital General Universitario Gregorio Marañón (Madrid); the Hospital Clínic de Barcelona; Hospital Juan Canalejo (A Coruña) and the Institute of science of the heart (ICICOR) of the clinical University Hospital Valladolid.
the hospital selected for the specialty of child Cardiology is the Hospital Infantil La Paz (Madrid).
in the viral diseases, selected hospitals programme are the Hospital Universitari La Fe (Valencia); Hospital Universitari Germans Trias i Pujol (Badalona, Barcelona) and the Hospital Universitario de La Princesa (Madrid).
the endowment of the scholarship includes:
ticket for round-trip class tourists from the country of origin to Spain 1,200 euros per month for accommodation and meals insurance and civil liability insurance

Nationality of any country of the Ibero-American community of Nations, except Spain
They were born after January 1, 1972
Be degree or doctor have the title of specialist required in each case the deadline ends on June 3.
