Severo Ochoa of pre-doctoral aid aims to promote teaching and research training of doctoral students in the Principality of Asturias by undertaking a doctoral thesis in university institutes or departments, public research bodies or technological centers based in the Principality of Asturias.
maximum amount of aid shall be four years. The aid is financed from budgetary application 14.08-422D-782.022 “Building scientific research” of the General budgets of the Principality of Asturias for 2013 whose spending has been approved by the Council of Government of the Principality of Asturias.
the total maximum aid amount may be complemented with 300,000 euros, coming from other credits that may reassign, generate, build, or extensions of credit, subsequent to this resolution. This additional budget will be published in the official bulletin of the Principality of Asturias.
may be beneficiaries of aid individuals who on the closing date of the deadline for submission of applications, the requirements specified in this call.
seekers must prove, at the time of submission of the application, the requirements specified below for each of the ordinations of the corresponding university educations:
to) Spanish nationality, being a national of a member country of the European Union, or in the case of extra foreign nationals, to be in possession of the NIE on the deadline for submission of applications.
b) be in possession of the title of licenciado, engineer, architect, graduate or degree of at least 300 credits ECTS (European Credit Transfer System) or master’s degree or equivalent.
c) having been admitted in time to complete in a doctoral program at a university based in the Principality of Asturias.
in the case of the applicants that have obtained the title or the studies in accordance with foreign educational systems that provide access to the PhD degree, shall apply to each of the ordinations of the teachings of doctorate that was them application.
the date of completion of studies that gave access to the master’s degree studies or teaching or training period of the doctoral program will be:
– in the case of university graduates, engineers or architects and also equivalent graduates in foreign university systems not adapted to the EHEA, subsequent to January 1, 2010.
– In the case of degree of 240 credits, after January 1, 2010.
– In the case of graduates, technical engineers or technical architects, subsequent to January 1, 2009.
– The completion date may be prior to those listed above, and with a limit of up to 1 January 2006 as follows:
1) graduates in medicine, pharmacy, biology, chemistry or psychology that at the time the aid are in possession of the title officer specialty medical (MIR) or pharmaceutical (FIR) or have the official certificate of specialty in biology (BIR)Chemistry (surgical) or psychology (PIR).
) graduates whose studies date is after January 1, 2006 and proving that, between this date and January 1, 2010, have been dedicated to the attention and care of children under six.
for applicants who have a degree of disability equal to or greater than 50 percent, the completion period designated in the preceding headings will be extended in two years respectively.
d) having a full academic record with an average grade of 1.80 points or 1.50 points in the case of teachings related to the branch of engineering and architecture, obtained by means of the following scale: approved = 1, remarkable = 2, outstanding = 3, Honors = 4
the recipients of this aid may not be falling in any of the circumstances which prohibit the obtaining of the status of person receivinglisted in article 13 of law 38/2003 of 17 November, General grants, and must comply with the obligations referred to in article 14.
can not access the condition of beneficiaries who are already in possession of the title of Doctor, PhD or equivalent.
