Scuola Normale Superiore PhD Scholarships in Italy

The Scuola Normale Superiore offers fully-funded PhD programs to both Italian citizens and students from outside Italy.

This scholarship is aimed at the following studies:

PhD Program in the following fields: Classics, Data Science, Mathematics, Methods and Models for Molecular Sciences, Nanosciences, Neurosciences, Philosophy, Physics, Political Science and Sociology and Transnational Governance

All PhD programs are open to both Italian citizens and students from outside Italy. There are 68 scholarshps available.

Scholarship benefits

All students admitted to the doctoral programmes receive scholarships, which include tuition fees and a grant for board and accommodation.  All students will be entitled to additional funding for their research activity, even abroad.

The following candidates, regardless of their citizenship, can apply:

• Those who have obtained a master's degree in Italy or an equivalent qualification in a non-Italian university by October 31, 2019;
• Those who were born after October 31, 1989.
