Schwarzman Scholarships to study for a master's degree in China



Every year Schwarzman Scholarships choose the next generation of world leaders—individuals with high capacity, open minds and unlimited potential—to do a master's degree in China.

This is one of the most selective programs in the world, and not only works based on the academic aptitude and intellectual capacity of applicants, but also on:

  • Leadership potential,

  • Entrepreneurial spirit,

The aim is to finance studies at the new SCHWARZMAN College, at the prestigious Tsinghua University in Beijing, China.

The Master's Fellowship is designed to prepare your graduates to meet the challenges of the 21st century.

How to apply for Schwarzman Scholarships?

The selection process includes:

  • An Englishman.

    • TOEFL PBT: 600 points.

    • TOEFL iBT: 100 points.

    • IELTS: 7 points.

    • NOTE: This requirement is waived for applicants who graduated from an institution where the primary language of instruction was English.

  • Personal presentation video, although not mandatory.

  • Two (2) tests with three (3) sections:

    • Personal Statement.

    • About leadership.

    • News: social, climate, business, diplomacy, others.

  • Curriculum vitae, maximum two (2) pages.

Scholarship benefits

Selected candidates will receive:

  • Tuition fees.

  • Lodging.

  • Travel to and from Beijing.

  • Books and materials required.

  • Health insurance.

These are the requirements to apply for

Applicants must meet the following eligibility requirements:

  • Be licensed in any area of knowledge.

    • Those who are currently enrolled in undergraduate programs must be on their way to completion by August 01 of the year of enrollment.

  • Be between eighteen (18) and under twenty-nine (29) years old, completed before August 01 of the year in which they are enrolled.

  • Highly master the English language.
