The International Institute in Spain and the Cultural Exchange Commission, educational and scientific between Spain and the United States of America (Fulbright program) convened three partial scholarships (travel bags), bearing the name of the American hispanist Ruth Lee Kennedy.
these scholarships are intended for University women who want to expand knowledge or research in universities in the United States of America.
the deadline for submission of applications ends on February 15. The following requirements must be met to gain access to one of them: being a woman and having another Member country of the European Union or Spanish nationality. Having obtained the degree or doctorate in a Spanish University in June 2006 or later. Possess an excellent knowledge of the English language–spoken and written.
requests shall be accompanied by the following documents (original and three copies):
study project that wants to develop in the United States (5 foils or 4000 words) maximum, in Spanish.
Curriculum Vitae in Spanish and a photocopy of the national identity document or passport.
Copy certified academic studies certificate.
Two letters of reference in the forms provided for this purpose with the request.
Letter of access or invitation from the American Center where you will carry out the studies.
A recent photograph.
Optional: Copy of the results of the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) with a minimum score of: 100 on the Internet-based Test; or 600 on the Paper-based Test.
the duration of the scholarship will not be less than six months for postgraduate studies, nor less than three for postdoctoral research projects. The period of enjoyment, 12 months maximum, must be between the summer/autumn of 2013 and 2014 summer and will not be postponed without the prior authorization of the Institute and the Commission. Travel bag has an endowment of $3,000. Personal interviews will be held in the spring.
