The order EHA 3181/2010, of 22 November, establishes the regulatory bases for granting by the National Institute of statistics (INE) of postgraduate fellowships in statistics.

with this order, the Ministry of economy and competitiveness, through the National Institute of statistics, develops a grants program, through direct granting scholarships for the encouragement and promotion of statistical research, as well as the development and implementation of statistical processes, through the training of postgraduates.

this resolution aims to call on competitive concurrence, regime of five scholarships in order to encourage and promote the statistical research, as well as the development and implementation of statistical processes, through the training of postgraduates.

the enjoyment of each of the scholarship period shall be twelve months, starting the first day of the month following the communication of the grant.

if there credit budget, adequate and sufficient, the duration of the scholarship may be extended for periods not exceeding six months up to a maximum period of 24 months, prior reasoned proposal of guardian of the formative action which will be elevated to the Presidency of the National Institute of statistics (INE) for its resolution.

scholarships are funded from chapter IV, concept 483 «scholarships for training of statisticians» of the expenditure budget of the National Institute of statistic corresponding to the financial year 2013 year.

the global envelope foreseen for scholarships subject to this call amounts to 53.905,80 euros.

for one of the grants to obtain object of this call, applicants must meet the following requirements:

to) have full capacity to act, as well as Spanish nationality or that of a member country of the European Union or the European economic area, and be a resident in Spain at the time of starting the enjoyment of scholarship.

b) be in possession of the title of licenciado, engineer or architect, or degree, which must have been obtained during the three years preceding the date of publication of this resolution of the bursaries. Qualifications shall be official or recognized or confirmed. In the case be pending such recognition or validation at the time of applying for the scholarship, you stay, where appropriate, conditioned the granting thereof to obtain recognition or validation.

c) find the current in the payment of their tax obligations and Social Security under the terms laid down in the regulations in force.

d) not incurring the prohibitions of article 13.2 of law 38/2003 of 17 November, General of grants.

e) have not been beneficiary of a scholarship granted by the National Institute of statistics, in advance, for the same purpose.

the documents and particulars mentioned above may be replaced by a responsible for the applicant’s declaration. In this case, the submission of documentation attesting to the reality of the data contained in the Declaration, in a period not exceeding 15 days will be required prior to the motion for a resolution granting the subsidy.

applications in the model annexed to the present resolution, duly completed, shall be submitted in the General registry of the National Institute of statistics (C / Estébanez Calderón, no. 1 (ground floor), 28020 Madrid) or in the manner established in article 38.4 of law 30/1992, of 26 November, legal regime of public administrations and common administrative procedure.
