Are they call up to a maximum of 16 seats for readers of Spanish at American universities within the Fulbright Foreign Language Teaching Assistants (FLTA) program during the academic year 2013-2014 for a total period of 9 months. The deadline for submission of applications is from Thursday, March 22, 2012 until Thursday, April 26, 2012. The program offers the opportunity to gain experience in the teaching of Spanish and know deeply American society and culture. Participants, in addition to their teaching responsibilities, cursarán subjects of University studies and participate in extracurricular activities while they help to strengthen and improve the quality of the teaching of Spanish within the participating universities in this call.

They tend to be located in non-urban areas, and usually do not offer graduate programs. In some cases, are specialized with an exclusively male or female students, or mostly composed by an ethnic minority institutions.
the list of institutions that offer a readership in Spanish will not close until the spring of 2013, which will be when every candidate finalist you will be assigned a destination Center. As a result, candidates Finalists must agree to the scholarship before knowing its destination, i.e., before receiving the offer of an American institution. Each participating University will elect a fellow reader between the candidates finalists proposed by the Commission in accordance with their specific preferences. The candidates finalists will receive a single offer.
