The Los Andes Association of Cajamarca (ALAC) is responsible the programme of scholarships Cajamarca (PROBECA) as a response to the demand for human capital highly qualified, that the challenges of development in the twenty-first century demand to Cajamarca and to any region of the world.
this initiative seeks to promote the development of skills and leadership that contribute to increasing the competitiveness of our region in the future. The program has a horizon of five years and account with the initial contribution of the Cajamarca solidarity fund of Yanacocha, approved by the Commission technical coordination (CLC) composed of the Regional Government, the Provincial Municipality and the bishopric of Cajamarca. This budget will allow co-financing 10 scholarships for master’s degree in United States, 4 in France, 2 in Chile and 10 in Peru.
through the partnership with the Embassy of France in 2011 first two scholars were selected to do his Masters in that country and in 2012, this call, allows to select 2 scholarships that they have access to prestigious universities, to do master degree in France.
Having been born in the Cajamarca region, and reside in the provinces of Cajamarca or Celendinpor one period of not less than 3 years. If you had been born outside the region, it must provide proof of residence in any of these two provinces over the past 7 years.
Possess a baccalaureate or professional degree. The Bachelor’s degree must have been obtained before July 2010.
Have belonged to the upper third of their promotion at the University who earned his Bachelor’s degree or title.
Have basic knowledge of the French language and be willing to refine his mastery of this language, under his responsibility, until July 2013.
Be presented by the legal representative of a local, public or private institution, of the different sectors working in Cajamarca.
Candidates must be under 35 years of age at the time of his application.
Provide proof of at least two years of work experience, from the date of obtaining the baccalaureate.
Have clear ideas about a project proposal related to the chosen master, for the benefit of the Cajamarca region.
the period of application application deadline is August 6, 2012. August 10, 2012 is submission deadline of the dossiers to the France Embassy in Lima. The pre-selection of candidates will be the week of 13 to 17 August. Between 20 to 29 August will be the meeting of the Evaluation Committee in Cajamarca for selection interviews. From 31 August to 8 September results will be published. From October 2012: beginning of the intensive French courses. Each student assumes responsibility and the cost of preparing intensively in French between October 2012 and July 2013, to passing exam DELF B2, as a requirement of the timing of the grant.
