The University of Alicante convenes the Aitana scholarships – Erasmus and Leonardo Da Vinci addressed to:
Students of official degrees of the AU which have passed at least 50% of the credits of his or her qualifications and who will be enrolled in the academic year 2012-2013. In the case of an official master’s degree students, the only requirement is enrolled in the academic year 2012-2013.
Entitled or titled au who obtained his degree in 2010, 2011 or 2012.
Students who at the time of registration are pending the results of their examinations for graduating, will have to indicate in the application form. In September his academic status will be checked: if they have been registered or whether they have paid rates of issue of the certificate.
In addition, to participate it is necessary to be a citizen of the European Union (or have permanent residence permit) and have adequate knowledge of the language of work carried out with guarantees for the stay. Required language level is determined by the characteristics of each training room.
In the case of students, practices stay may be recognized with credits of practicum or internship within their degree subjects, provided the Centre in which he is so registered decide it in the light of the results of stay and upon presentation of the reports required in the period stipulated for this purpose.
The rooms will have a duration of 3 to 6 months (depending on the destination and the availability of scholarships) and will be supervised from the AU both the host organization, through the figure of the tutor.
The rooms for students (Erasmus-practices) must conform to the academic year 2012-2013 stays will take place during the second semester: may start from the first semester exams and will have as the deadline to finish on September 30.

The economic contribution of the scholarship depends on the grant received from Erasmus programmes and Leonardo da Vinci and the co-financing that can bring the AU, but the average will be approximately of 600 euros per month for travel, accommodation and living expenses. Participants may have up to 200 euros to reinforce their knowledge of the working language: may carry out their training before the beginning of the stay or during the same already in the country of destination.
