Lens School of Visual Arts Announces Scholarship Lens of photography 2014 with the aim of making it accessible to the fourth edition of his master’s degree in photography of author and professional photographers of talent projects and facilitate the development of quality projects during the same.
scholarship covers academic master, valued at 7,250 euros. In addition, three runners up involving an aid of 50% discount on the total price will be awarded and there will be other ten finalists who will enjoy a 35% discount.
scholarship is open to the participation of any photographer of age, regardless of their place of origin. The winner of the scholarship must be master in the announcement of October 2014.
in this way, each participant must create a file compressed in .zip or .rar – format whose name must consist of the name and surname of the participant-, upload it to the web service WeTransfer, and send the download link to the email firstname.lastname@example.org
the compressed file should contain the following:
a document .pdf with the title of the photo project and a description of the same.
12 photos in .jpg format (1080 px. high) numbered. The photographs must belong to the same project or series of photographs.
CV format. pdf. and ID card or passport in .jpg format (800 px in its wider side.)
The compressed file may not exceed 10 Mb in size. Only one shipment per person is allowed. Duplicate submissions will be deleted, as well as those who do not respect the specified maximum measurements.
shipping time will end on April 30, 2014, at 12 noon Spanish time. The jury – composed of renowned photographers – will announce his ruling public and final form through the web and social networks of LENS School of Visual Arts before May 15, 2014.
the Lens photography scholarship winner 2014 will receive a notification via email. His photographs, as well as those of the winners of the prize and finalists may be employed by LENS in campaigns exclusively related to the communication and dissemination of scholarship and the school itself. Rights of copyright and use of images will continue to belong to its authors.
scholarship winner must sign an agreement detailing their obligations during the course, including: mandatory attendance at 80% of classes development tasks Assistant of photographers who taught workshops at the school and realization of photo shoots of the same – two weekends a month, to be agreed at the signing of the agreement.
the winners of the prize and finalists may apply the discount of 50% and 35% in the following courses: Master in photography of author and project professionals (4th Edition). Advanced photography course. The awards are conditioned to the realization of the object of such courses. Any course cancellation will not result in the exchange of scholarship by the amount in cash. The winners of the prize and finalists will be assistance in workshops work one weekend a month.
