In order to encourage artistic creation within the Pop music and Rock music and contribute thereby to its dissemination and popularization, UNED, has decided to convene the I Edition of UNED Prize Pop Rock.
may submit groups or soloists, whose members have Spanish residence, having no multinational record deal before October 15, 2012, or if you have any edited song, that is auto-producida or with an independent company, possessing a prepared repertoire to be performed live and acoustic, not less than 30 minutes format.
the participants ensure that they hold the rights to interpretation and authorship of the topics presented and give them UNED to play media without commercial or lucrative purpose, exempting the University of any liability or claims of third parties.
the data submitted by participants may be used only for cultural activities, within the legal framework of the applicable legislation on data protection.
those participants who have been awarded, undertake to act in the concert of the call of the award in time, date, time and stage to be determined by the UNED in Madrid. To do this, the Organization shall make available selected soloist or group: monitors, lighting, and sound PA.
in the case of the group residing in national territory outside of the community of Madrid, the UNED undertakes to cover the costs of transport and accommodation of the winning musicians during the night of the day of the concert.
topics submitted must be unpublished and have not been awarded in another competition.
A specialist jury made up for this event, selects among proposals submitted, two winners in two categories: category “UNED” and “friends of the UNED” category. In the first category “UNED” can go to any group or solo formation including at least: a student of the UNED, or staff of the UNED (teacher or administrative), or guardians of the UNED or partners of the Association of former students and friends of the UNED (www.aaaauned.org) in the category of “friends of the UNED” can go any person or group does not have a relationship with the University.
the names of those selected to perform in the final round will be made public before November 30, 2012, on the website of the University (www.uned.es).
A jury will make a pre-selection of 10 finalists for each category, whose songs can be heard in the web space UNED include, entitled Prize Pop Rock of the UNED including information of interest groups.

Prize Pop Rock of the UNED, category “UNED”, endowed with 500 euros and performance in the room that the Organization considers.

award-winning soloists or groups are committed to that in public executions, recordings, or any other Act of communication that occurs with your knowledge on the winning make express mention of the prize awarded in this contest. For its part, the entity that calls is entitled to freely disseminate fragments of the winning entries in the media.
winners are obliged to submit all the necessary documentation, certifying that they meet the requirements of the various sections of the competition.
at the discretion of the jury, the prizes may be declared deserts.

the absence of data, its inaccuracy or not setting the bases can give rise, to the exclusion of participants. The form attached with the email shall contain all the data that are requested in order to participate in the contest.
