Main focus of research is the investigation of anode materials for the photoelectrocatalytic water splitting, thermoelectric materials, as well interface induced electronic and magnetic phenomena in oxide heterostructures. The research will involve intense collaborations in the framework of SPP1613 and other collaborative research programs. Prior experience with density functional theory methods is desirable, experience with many body techniques such as GW or DMFT and strong computer programming skills will be an advantage.
