The Organization of American States (OAS) and the ITESM, under the alliances program for education and training, have decided to support individuals in the Americas through the auspices of eight (8) OAS/ITESM scholarships, you divided into Group 1 and group 2, to continue their studies through any of the following programs in the Guadalajara Campus and Campus Puebla of Tecnologico de Monterrey.

The DDHEC strengthens democratic values and security under the framework of regional integration, promoting training opportunities for citizens with the purpose of supporting the efforts of Member States to improve the quality and equity in education. The DDHEC facilitates strategic alliances to promote regional integration and the development of human capacities in an effort to promote quality education, the growth of knowledge-based societies and decent work for all citizens of the hemisphere.


1. Professional profile of the applicant:

it is recommended having academic experience in areas related to the program in which admission is sought.

is not required to have previous professional experience, but some work experience is desirable.

the applicant must demonstrate having completed their undergraduate studies with a minimum grade point average equivalent to 85/100.

pass the exam for admission to the program with at least 550 points.

2. Place of studies/mode:

Mexico. The methodology of the courses is face-to-face.

both programs every six months as the quarterly started on January 14, 2013. Both have lasting between 18 and 24 months studying in a scheme of full time. The end date may be in June or December 2014.

1. Benefits:

to the corresponding to group 1, two fellowships scholarships will cover 80% of the cost of tuition as shown in the programs table group 1. Candidates occupying the first places of this process will be creditors to a single financial contribution of $6,000 USD as a partial contribution for subsistence costs to be distributed for the entire duration of the program of studies.

for the six (6) corresponding to group 2, the scholarship scholarships shall cover only 50% of the cost of tuition, as shown in the programs table group 2. These grants do not include any economic contribution for maintenance and other expenses of the student.

Implican the accession of the student to the academic standards and campus scholarships, as well as the signing of a Charter prior to your enrollment commitment.

in Campus Guadalajara, the fellows are entitled to use a grant of 40% in the dorms on campus. This scholarship is assigned under the following conditions:

2. Financial responsibility for Fellows:

in both cases, the trainee as well as covering the percentage of 20% (Group 1) or 50% (Group 2) remainder of the cost of tuition fees of the programme as the case may be, will be liable to cover their fees by student services (certificates, certificates), exams admission, cost of graduation (degree expedition), legalization of documentsairfare, formalities of visa, medical insurance, as well as any other additional costs and any other expenses that the fellow incurred and which is not covered by this call.
