Menéndez Pelayo International University (UIMP) has extended the application deadline for scholarships for more than one dozen of meetings and seminars that will be held in the framework of courses summer 2013, in the Palace of the Magdalena in Santander, Cantabria.

this special period, which will close on Friday (day 7), includes the courses:

Meeting positioning of medicaments (days 2 and 3 July)
I find the penal institution: inquisitive judge or judge of warranties? The role of the Prosecutor (days 3, 4 and 5 July)
I find the independent fiscal authority: a challenge to current, past and future (on 8, 9 and 10 July)
The chain COPE radio workshop (11 and 12 July)

UIMP scholarships, is mainly aimed at University students and postgraduates, and aims to promote participation in the courses who presented a brilliant academic career.

there are two types of scholarship:

Scholarship: includes accommodation, maintenance and price registration. The displacement shall be borne by the student.
Tuition scholarship: exclusively comprises tuition free.

c) in the case of courses that require previous selection and a specific profile for students, applicants must make a request of pre-admission. Once has been resolved favourably such a request, they may attend the call and participate in the scholarship selection process.

applications for scholarships will telematically study through the web page of the UIMP, (by selecting the course of interest in academic activities). In processing, the applicant must submit the following documentation in electronic format:
Personal academic certification or certified photocopy. Those who have obtained the degree of Doctor or are studying for doctorate or Master’s degree, must submit further supporting documentation from the condition.
One photography recent passport.
Photocopy of ID card (in the case of Spanish citizens), passport or NIE (in case of foreign citizens).
During the online application process will generate a receipt which the applicant shall keep in his possession to be subsequently presented to UIMP, together with the originals of the required documentation in format paper, in case of aid awarded.
Where there are several requests for grant of a same applicant within the same academic year, the selection board only considered which corresponds to the course or seminar next in its celebration.
No student can enjoy more than one scholarship of the UIMP per year, criteria applied to the set of offices. The perception of the scholarship or aid shall be incompatible with any other aid or subsidy for the same purpose.

the criteria that will be assessed for the award of scholarships are:

the regulatory bases of the criteria for awarding scholarships, as well as the weighting of the selection criteria reflected in the call and will be available in the Secretariat of students and on the website.

the Secretary of students of the UIMP will review applications for grants and if shall be observed that the documentation submitted is incomplete, a period of correction of 10 days shall be granted to interested parties. If these are not remedied the defect in this period, shall be to the file of your application.
