Lund University’s 350th Jubilee Scholarships for International Students in Sweden, 2017



Applications are invited for Lund University’s 350th Jubilee Scholarships which are open to students from non-EU/EEA countries. These scholarships can be applied to over 100 different Master’s programmes, beginning in autumn 2017, in a variety of subjects at Lund University.

Lund University is one of northern Europe’s oldest, largest, and most prestigious universities, consistently ranking among the world’s top 100 universities.

Students must be able to demonstrate proficiency in English by means of an internationally recognised test, e. g. TOEFL, IELTS or the equivalent.

Scholarship can be taken in Sweden

College Admission Requirement

Entrance Requirement: Student must have been awarded a Bachelor’s degree from an internationally recognised university.

English Language Requirement: Most Lund University programmes and courses require English 6/English course B (advanced level) language proficiency which is the equivalent of IELTS 6.5 (no section less than 5.5) or TOEFL 90.

Non-EU/EEA students can apply for these scholarships.

What is the study subject?:

Scholarships are awarded for studying all the subjects offered by the university.

Scholarships are available for pursuing master’s programme.

How much is the scholarship award?:

Lund University is celebrating 350 years of education and research with €350,000 in scholarships. The scholarship is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash. The scholarship applies to tuition fees at Lund University only and does not include cost of living or relocation.

Criteria to be eligible:

The scholarship is open to non-EU/EEA citizens applying for a Master’s degree starting in autumn 2017 at Lund University. Non-EU/EEA citizens who are not required to pay tuition fees for any reason are not eligible for this scholarship.

How to apply this scholarship?:

Submit the competition materials through the competition website before the deadline. In parallell, you also apply to the programme at Lund University following the regular programme application process. If you have made a complete competition entry and are also selected for admission to the programme at Lund University, you will be in the pool of candidates considered for the competition scholarships.
