New Europe College - Institute of advanced studies in Bucharest (Romania) announces scholarships for the academic year 2014-2015. The program is aimed at young academic researchers working in the fields of Humanities, social sciences, and the international economy.
applicants must hold a PhD degree or PhD students at an advanced stage of its investigation. Preference is given to candidates under 40 years of age and those who still have not benefited from a grant from NEC.
working languages: English, French and German. It is preferable to have good level of English.
a) a full year (10 months, from October to July)
b) a grant of a period (from October to February or March to July)
scholarship consists of a monthly prize of 600 euros, accommodation, international transport from and to the country of origin of the scholars at the beginning and at the end of the scholarship, as well as for the holiday season. The course is offered to fellows who stay throughout a one month research trip abroad to the institution of your choice (2,600 euros for the transportation, accommodation and food). As an alternative, you can choose to research field in Romania or abroad.
is expected that fellows to work on their own projects and participate in scientific events organized by the New Europe College. At the end of his scholarship, expected that each Member will deliver a research paper, which reflects the results of their work during the duration of the scholarship. The documents will be included in a publication NEC.
