Fulbright Scholarship for Colombian Research Visitor

The Fellowship offers Colombian researchers and professors, with a doctoral degree or equivalent research experience, the opportunity to join a university or research center in the United States, for one (1) academic semester, in order to conduct advanced research. With this program, Fulbright Colombia promotes collaboration between Colombian and American researchers, strengthens research processes in the country and encourages the insertion of Colombia into global knowledge networks.

At the end of their research stay, the fellows have an obligation to return to Colombia to contribute to the development of the country, from their field of study.

The Scholarship is open to all areas of study, withthe exception of clinical areas of human and animal health. Specifically, candidates who, under their project, must have direct contact with animal or human patients, or conduct tests, laboratory experiments or clinical procedures involving them, may not be funded.
