Driving licence unemployed scholarships

The Mapfre Foundation convenes 100 scholarships aimed at facilitating the obtaining of driving licences to young unemployed in Spain. The call will be open until September 30, 2013. Persons who are between 18 and 29 years inclusive, and proving to be in a situation of unemployment in Spain, since at least may benefit from these scholarships from 31 May 2013 until the time of the request.

those who want to participate in obtaining scholarships must meet the following requirements:

be registered in www.seguridadvialparajovenes.com the period in which the call for proposals is open.
Having performed and approved in its entirety the course of road safety for young people located in the said site.
Be between 18 and 29 years old, both inclusive.
Be unemployed since May 31, 2013 at least up to the time of the request.
Live at the family home.
Have ID card or residence into force card.
The annual income of the family unit are calculated on the basis of the following formula: the total annual income of the family unit by the number of members of the Commission will be divided and the result should be less than 9,100 euros per person.

all requirements must be together, not to meet one of them excludes from participation for these scholarships.

grants are 500 euros (tax free) that can only be used for obtaining the driving licence of the class B or higher.

for the calculation of family income for these grants are eligible members of the family the father and the mother or guardian, in its case, the applicant, under 25 years old unmarried brothers and people living in the family home or older, in the case of people with disabilities.

the winner has up to 3 months to make use of the scholarship through a school attached to the initiative “We aren’t dummies”.

in the draw, Mr. Notario will select among participants that they meet all requirements for a total of 150 winners. The first 100 selected correspond to the scholarship winners. The rest came as a “reserve” of winners by strict order of extraction, if it were not possible to locate the winners or these do not comply with the requirements laid down in the rules. Furthermore, the winners may not participate in the rest of the calls which may occur within this program.
