Embassies of Spain and Mexico in Panama are pleased to inform the general public that the National Council for culture and
the Arts in Mexico (CONACULTA) through the National Fund for culture and the Arts (FONCA) and the National Center of the Arts (CENART);
the Spanish Agency for international cooperation for development (AECID) through the Cultural Centre of Spain in Mexico (CCEMX), as well as the Secretariat of Foreign Affairs (SRE), through the General Directorate for educational cooperation and Cultural, artistic countries creators call members of the Ibero-American community and Haiti to make a residence individual 13 weeks in Mexico from August 20 to November 20, 2012in the disciplines of Visual Arts, audiovisual media, dance, music, letters, theatre and design. Up to 20 artist residencies, with a maximum of 5 per country shall be granted.
objective of the 2012 artistic scholarship
the objective of the residence is to develop a work that will be presented at the fifth sample of Ibero-American art, from 9 to 16 November 2012 at the Cultural Center of Spain in Mexico, and linking the work of the creator with the community in which the residence through academic activities will take place.
