The Bucks New University is offering available 100 individual scholarships of up to £3,000 for new students starting year 1 of their course from September 2016 onwards.

The BSP is a scholarship designed to provide a direct benefit to individual students from England and the European Union who come from low-income backgrounds and is intended to support the progression of students from groups currently under-represented in higher education. All funds are provided by the University.

Buckinghamshire New University is a public university with campuses in High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire and Uxbridge, West London. The Vice-Chancellor of the University is Rebecca Bunting.

College Admission Requirement

Entrance Requirement: Entry requirements vary for each course; the student can find entry criteria by searching for their course of interest in their r course finder. As a guide, the academic entry requirement for undergraduate courses includes the achievement of the equivalent of a minimum of 2 UK A-level qualifications as confirmed with comparison information on UK NARIC.

English Language Requirement: Applicants require IELTS overall score 6.0.

Each scholarship will equate to a financial support package of up to £3,000 which is paid as follows:

Criteria to be eligible:

Students are eligible to apply for a scholarship if their declared residual household income is £25,000 per annum or less, if they are entering university for the first time, have firmly accepted an offer of a place at Bucks, have applied for Student Finance and will be paying tuition fees in excess of £6,000 per annum (pro-rata for part-time students).

How to apply this scholarship?:

Once the student has firmly accepted their place with University via UCAS Track, they will need to complete a BSP application form and return it via email.
