The Mapfre Foundation Announces 25 scholarships in order to facilitate University students in Latin America and Portugal a period of training in universities and Spanish institutions during the academic year 2012-2013 on topics related to the different areas of activity of the Insurance Institute of Science: insurance and risk management.
the total amount of each scholarship is 4,000 euros, apply the deduction that the fiscal regulations current Spanish. With the prize money, the fellow may cover the costs of travel, stay and maintenance during the period of the fellowship.
the call only provides academic programs related to the areas of knowledge of insurance and risk management: tecnico-actuarial analysis, insurance, management and organization of insurance companies, management of risk, accounting and economic and financial analysis of the insurance companies.
scholarships are awarded per year and may be extended, where appropriate, a second course up to a maximum of 24 months, based on academic performance retrieved.

applicants must meet the following requirements:
nationality. Applicants must prove to be a citizen of any Latin American country or Portugal, with Spain residence.
Studies. University graduates, graduates, graduates, and graduates who have completed studies in universities or higher education institutions in each of their respective countries of origin can apply for a scholarship.
Studies to study. The course will choose it the applicant between the existing in Spain University educational offer.
the candidates who receive a scholarship must begin to study during the 2012-2013. In particular, must be incorporated into your target Center in September or October of the above course, except that the program for which you have obtained the scholarship only is delivered in another period of the academic year.
